About

Hi! I'm Pam

Once, at a business retreat, someone asked, "Where do you see yourself in 10 years?"

Most people probably imagined corner offices, growing businesses, or six-figure salaries.

Me? I pictured myself alone on a hiking trail.

I'm pretty sure I wasn't doing it right.

But looking back, I think that answer said a lot about me.

I've always valued the simple things. The world is loud, and there's a lot of pressure to do more, be more, and make everything bigger. But I've learned that meaningful things are often built through small, consistent steps.

I find joy in the details. The first sip of coffee in the morning. Finding a 100% natural fiber sweater at the thrift store. The sounds of a hiking trail. A good conversation that makes you think differently.

I'm an artist, a wife, a mom, and equal parts hippy and bougie. I love Jesus, people, creativity, and finding beauty in places others might overlook.

And somewhere along the way, I've realized that the way I see the world has a lot to do with the way I approach my work.

A Little About My Journey

My professional journey hasn't exactly followed a straight line.

I started as an artist and creative entrepreneur, learning firsthand what it takes to build something, find your audience, and figure out how to tell your story.

That creative background eventually led me into nonprofit leadership, where I spent years leading Women in Motion, building relationships, developing programs, planning events, fundraising, and helping an organization grow its presence and impact in the community.

Today, I bring those experiences together through GHTP Consulting (Girl, Hold the Phone), where I help nonprofits and small businesses simplify their communication, clarify their message, and tell stories that actually connect with people.

I've been the person trying to figure out what to post, how to reach people, how to grow an organization, and how to get it all done with limited time and resources.

And I've learned that more content, more platforms, and more noise aren't always the answer.

Sometimes, we just need to get clear on what matters.

Why I Do What I Do

I believe good communication starts with understanding who you are, what matters to you, and the people you're trying to reach.

It doesn't have to be complicated. It doesn't have to be perfect. And it certainly doesn't have to consume your life.

I love helping people connect the dots, discover possibilities, and find simpler ways to communicate the work they're already doing.

Because the goal isn't just to be seen.

It's to be understood.

And maybe, just maybe, have a little more time to enjoy the hiking trails along the way.
